Steven W. Strifler has been named Chief Executive Officer of Cisco-Eagle, Inc. by the company’s Chairman, Warren Gandall.
Strifler most recently served as President and Chief Operations Officer of the Dallas, Texas based materials handling distributor and systems integrator. The company specializes in material handling solutions for warehousing and distribution, utilizing equipment such as conveyors and storage products to optimize customer operations.
Strifler began his career at Cisco-Eagle’s Arkansas’ division in a sales and engineering role in 1995. He assumed the role of Vice President, Arkansas operations, prior to being named President and COO of the company in 2000. As CEO, he will also continue as President.
Strifler holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. His service in the U.S. Army included among other activities, Airborne Rifle Platoon Leader, General Staff, and Deputy Operations Officer. Strifler is the President of the Hytrol Conveyor Distributor Council and is on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Chapter of the ESOP Association. He is a member of the University of Arkansas RFID Research and Development Council, and holds memberships in the National Business Advisory Council, the Quality Texas Foundation, and Texas Business Leaders. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Material Handling Equipment Dealers Association.
