Accumulation Conveyors - Minimum Pressure Systems

Hold product on the conveyor until given a signal to release

Minimum pressure accumulation conveyor allows products to lightly touch while being conveyed. The conveyor stops a moving package, but back pressure is kept to a minimum to eliminate package damage.  The amount of back pressure is usually 2% of the total live load on the conveyor and is adjustable. To maintain the driving of the tread roller, the pressure roller is mounted in spring-adjusted carriers which sense the required driving friction regardless of the length of the accumulated load.
