Pallet Racks - Pallet Storage Systems
Selective Rack, Pushback, Drive-In, and Pallet Flow

Steel King Rack uses a fully welded tubular upright giving it more resistance to impact than open-back style uprights. Dozens of ready-to-order preconfigured racks to make buying easier. Also: beams, upright rack frames, and accessories such as wire decking and safety netting to make your rack safer and more functional. |
Structural Pallet racks are used in high-traffic, extreme capacity applications. Constructed of structural channel steel, these racks are withstand the wear and tear of the toughest environments. Use structural instead of tubular types in areas most likely to suffer from collisions, with very heavy loads, or extremely high traffic. Also excellent for freezers and other harsh environments. |

Mecalux Pallet Rack uses an open-back style bolt-together frame.Although upright frames and beams can be ordered individually, we have put together over 150 pre-configured rack sizes to make ordering as easy as possible. Combine a Starter section with Adder sections to create rows of pallet storage. |

Seismic rack complies with building codes where required by law. Many regions throughout the U.S. require that seismic rated rack be used for anything over 8ft. tall. Mecalux seismic rack uses a welded-on footplate rather than the bolted-on footplate that is used in the standard pallet rack. Also welded onto the footplate is a bracing post that fits inside the base of the uprights. |
Drive-In Racks allow a lift truck to enter the rack from one side to pick up or pull out pallets. This is done because pallets can slide backwards on a continuous rail. Forklifts drive into the rack to access pallets two or more deep. Drive-In racks are typically subject to more abuse than selective racks due to the way they are utilized, so rack integrity and strength are important factors. It is ideal rack for cooler or freezer applications. |
Drive-Through Racks allow a lift truck to enter the rack from either side to pick up or pull out pallets. Loads are supported by rails attached to upright frames, and lift trucks are driven between uprights to reach pallets. This is done because pallets can slide backwards on a continuous rail. It's open at both ends, allowing first-in, first-out storage. |

Use gravity to flow pallets in super-high-density racks. The flow system depth, height, and width are limited only by the size of your facility and the capabilities of your material handling equipment. Flow Storage solutions are used in situations where storage density and inventory rotation are priorities. Systems are highly flexible with standardized components, and can convey virtually any skid or pallet type. |
A push back pallet rack system fills the storage cube with product while it reduces the number of necessary aisles. A Pushback rack system lets you store pallets 2 to 5 deep while retaining easy access to a variety of different SKUs. It has higher selectivity than drive-in systems and better storage density than selective rack systems. |

Take advantage of lost space in your warehouse by storing empty pallets above your dock doors. Specially designed overdock racks allow you to utilize previously unused space to store larger, lighter loads such as empty pallets, cartons, packing materials, and more. Systems are designed in either single-leg or ceiling-mounted configurations, depending on your needs. An excellent space-utilization technique for warehouses, distribution centers, and commercial facilities, or in any loading dock area. |

Forming dies are an vital to manufacturing processes from heavy components to machine assembly, but dies are difficult to store and handle due to their heavy weights and bulky dimensions, and lack of stackability. Die racks provide the answer with high-capacity storage for these ultra-heavy-duty loads. They allow you to safeyly store dies, jigs, and other components in an assembly or production area. Racks are bolt style and adjustable for optimum storage flexibility. |
Wire decking is a great add-on for your pallet rack. It is economical for new installations and for upgrading your current rack system. Decking made tough and durable, with wire construction and underlying metal supports. It offers easy visibility for rack content inspections, and it meets fire safety codes. |
Many applications require the extra strength and safety of a bolted pallet rack connection. As an example, in drive-in, pushback, die storage, coil storage, or flow rack installations, bolted connections add security to the rack structure. For these installations, we recommend bolt connection pallet rack. Tubular uprights can combine with either tubular or structural beams in various applications. |
