Manually operated gates are personnel safety devices and are not designed to protect forklifts or other mechanically driven equipment. They help to prevent the dangers falling in high traffic loading areas while maintaining productivity. When gates are closed, workers cannot inadvertently fall from the edge of a loading dock. They open easily and quickly.
