Safety Netting for Conveyors

Application examples:

Box-Shaped with offset or flush mounting. Boxed shape guarding protects both sides and beneath the conveyor. When sides are kept close, the guarding can help keep products on the line. If mounted far enough away, product can fall clear of the conveyor for a safe catch in the netting below. Broken cases, small products and falling conveyor parts are caught on the underside, too. FlexGuard height should be at least two-thirds the  height of the largest conveyed object.

L-Shaped Guards are designed for conveyor applications that run next to walls. They're supported by cable or angles that run along the overhead supports and are secured to the wall behind the conveyor.

Side Guards. When protection is needed on the sides of conveyors but not beneath, Side Guards can be specified. Generally they are placed flush to the conveyor without offsetting.

Catenary Curve. The catenary curve is used in special applications where other system layouts are not possible. Design considerations should be carefully reviewed for this choice.

Horizontal Guard

Horizontal Guards. These guards are used under or between multiple overhead conveyors, or elevated work platforms and mezzanines*. We suggest installing horizontal FlexGuard under the entire exposure.

In some applications, the open outer perimeters may need side guards.

*No conveyor guard is designed to protect falling personnel.

Box-Shaped 90-degree Turn

90-degree and 180-degree Turns. FlexGuard can handle any shape, turn or change in elevation, including 90-degree and 180-degree turns.

The entire system is designed to be versatile, flexible, and to adapt to any type of conveyor system regardless of the way it's suspended or laid out.

Liners for retaining small parts. We provide small mesh liners to catch nuts, bolts washers and other small items--down to 1/8". Liners are normally used in combination with standard FlexGuard.

NOTE: Safety netting guards are an engineered safety guard and may take several days to properly configure and quote.
