Standard Guardian lockers build upon the features of the Vanguard series with enhancements that help quiet the noise of slamming doors in a busy corridor.

Changes vs. Vanguard Lockers

  • Louvers are omitted from the doors, replacing them with ventilation slots in the top and bottom flanges of the door.
  • Stainless steel recessed handles are provided which eliminates protrusions from the locker front, accepts locks, and, and displays the number plate inside the handle pocket.
  • Rubber bumpers are added to all latch hooks.
  • The latch channel is silenced by unique guides.

Guardian Locker Specifications

  • Doors and door frames are 16 gauge.
  • Tops, backs, bottoms, and sides are 24 gauge.
  • You can specify if the lockers will have 6" legs, or no legs at no additional cost.
  • Guardian lockers are only available as single, double, and triple tier, duplex, and two person lockers

Guardian Locker Options

  • Medallion Option - adds a sound dampening panel welded inside the locker doors.
  • Guardian Plus Option - increases the thickness of the doors to 14 gauge. This is only available on single, double, and triple tier Guardian Lockers.
  • Defiant II Option -  makes the following changes:
    • Changes the latching to a single point latch in a recessed handle. This has no latching channel or moving parts for lower maintenance.
    • 14 gauge doors.
    • The doors have a full height vertical pan welded to the top, bottom, and hinge-side flanges along with the inside of the door.
    • Number plates are positioned at the top, center of the doors.
    • Doors have a full height continuous piano hinge.
    • The Defiant II option is only available for single, double and triple tier lockers.

Guardian lockers accept the full range of locker accessories, such as closed bases, slope tops, finished ends and trim.
