Mezzanine & Safety Cage Ladders provide vertical access to raised
platforms. Especially useful where space is limited, these ladders are
sturdy steel structures intended to be anchored at the floor and to the supporting structure. At heights exceeding 12', it is recommended that you select a
caged ladder for added climber safety. Once you go over 30', OSHA safety
standards require cage enclosures.
Caged ladders have a 7' open bottom height to accommodate various worker heights. At 7' high, the safety cage begins and continues to the uppermost height of the ladder, thereby preventing dangerous falls over the entire length of the ladder. Additionally, safety handles extend up over landing deck height, allowing workers to have hand holds as they step off the ladder onto the platform deck.
