Width

Conveyor width is measured in two ways; overall width (OAW) and between rail width.  Overall width includes the width of the frame, which is 1-5/8" on either side of the rails.  This means that the between rail width would be 3-1/4" less than the overall width of the conveyor.  Keep this in mind when determining what width of conveyor you need to meet your package requirements.

Supports

Conveyor curve length is determined by OAW, in general, the wider a piece of conveyor is, the more length that is required to turn a corner. Curved sections should be ordered with 2 floor supports for the ends and 1 floor support for the middle of the curve.  The middle floor support will keep the curved conveyor from twisting and straining under the force of packages moving around the curve.  Floor supports also have an impact on overall capacity of the conveyor.

  • Roller Bearings - Labyrinth sealed (dust & debris protection) and grease packed

This gravity roller conveyor is used to carry heavy packages down a line. Useful in setting up conveyor lines in warehousing activities, shipping departments, assembly areas, etc. Majority of products will convey with minimum amount of pitch, obtained by adjusting the height of the floor supports (sold separately). The more pitch is increased, the faster the products will move down the line; so if very heavy products are being conveyed, steps should be taken to slow down the product before it reaches a stopping point. Gravity Roller Curves add to the versatility of straight conveyors. Curves provide smooth product flow through turns. Guard rails (optional item) may be added for product protection.
