3-wall wire enclosure installs against any existing straight wall, using three wire panel walls and one building wall to enclose a door area. Partitions are built with high-strength welded wire mesh for complete security. You can add pushbars, benches, service windows and other accessories to customize your cage. Optional ceiling available for increased security.

How to lay out your dock door security cage

3-Sided Cages - cover dock-side doors on straight walls

3-Side cages fit against a single building wall, providing a secure area utilizing one building walls and three wire mesh walls, plus the lockable door. The door on these cages are mounted on the center panel at the end of your partition, but other configurations are available. Your facility wall must be able to accommodate wall or ceiling panels to utilize a 3-sided partition without at-wall post connections. These cages are configured with posts.

Panels:

The panels are constructed of 8 gauge vertical and 10 gauge horizontal wires welded into 1-1/4" x 3" rectangular mesh and are fully framed to a 1¼" x 1¼" x 13 gauge roll formed steel. The panels are then connected to strong 2" x 2" x 14 gauge tubular steel posts.

Posts

Posts are made of 2" x 2" x 14 gauge (.083) steel tubing and are 96" high. Base plates of 4" x 5" x 1/4" steel flat with two 7/16" round holes for floor anchoring, are welded to each. A decorative cap is tack welded to the top. Posts are drilled with 1/2" holes to accept hardware for mounting panels and doors. Hole spacing is set to leave a 3 1/4" sweep space below the panels. Posts have a 2" projection above the panels.

Doors

Doors are constructed of the same welded wire and in the same manner as the panels. They are designed to work on either the right or left side, opening either to the inside or the outside of the partition depending on which way you install them. All doors are furnished with a padlock lug; standard built-in cylinder locks are available. Please let us know if you need any optional locking mechanisms such as coded entry, push levers, card readers, or magnetic style locks.

Hardware

All hardware needed for installation is furnished, including floor anchors.

Finish

Non-plated parts receive one coat of gray acrylic enamel. Touch up paint is included with each order. Other colors are available.
