RapidWire HD™ welded wire panel is 7' w x 5' h. When combined with posts, it creates a 6’2" barrier with approximately 1’ under-clearance. Panel is constructed of 10-gauge steel wire welded into 1-1/4" by 3" rectangular welded wire mesh and welded into a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 13 gauge steel angle frame. Frame has slotted holes for mounting to adjacent posts and panels.

Once erected, barriers restrict access to a work cell, machining area, conveyor, or other automated equipment and prevents employees, visitors, or contractors from wandering into an area where injuries can occur or equipment can be damaged. Physical Barriers will not interrupt robotic operations through mischievous or inadvertent contact, as may happen with light curtains or switchmats. The barrier doubles as a potential safety net by helping to contain objects thrown or ejected by a malfunctioning robot. Combine panels, posts, and gates to create a wire barrier that keeps areas segmented and still allows visibility and access to those who need it. It’s easy to install with 1/2" wedge anchors. All parts are finished in Gray Enamel. Hardware: All erection hardware is supplied with your order. Panel mounting hardware is standard thread 3/8” plated fasteners. Floor anchors are 1/2" or 3/8" wedge type.

RapidWire HD^TM MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

PANELS
Panels are constructed of 1-1/4" x 3" welded mesh, 10 gauge vertical wires securely welded to 8 gauge long wires. Mesh is securely welded into a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 13 gauge roll formed angle frame. Panel frames have 7/16" x 5/8" slotted holes for mounting to posts.

POSTS
Posts are made of 2" x 2" x 14 gauge steel tubing. Base plates of 2" x 7" x 1/4" steel flat with two 7/16" round holes for floor anchoring, are welded to each. Top of post is finished with decorative plastic cap. Posts have factory drilled 1/2" holes for mounting panels.

DOORS
Doors are constructed of 1-1/4" x 3" welded wire mesh, securely welded into a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 13 gauge steel angle frame. Doors have 10" x 16 gauge steel plate welded across center. Optional door lock designed to fit into formed center plate. Two horizontal, (and for hinge doors, two diagonal) stiffeners made of 1/4" x 3/4" flat steel are welded to door frame behind the mesh.

HARDWARE
All erection hardware is supplied with order. Panels attach to posts with standard 3/8" bolts. Posts anchor to floor with 3/8" wedge type anchors-provided.

FINISH
Non-plated parts receive one coat of gray acrylic enamel. Other colors and powder coat are available.
