Strip Material

Configured using Standard Smooth strips suitable for indoor and outdoor temperatures from -10 to 150 degrees F. This versatile material is used across many industries, and won't discolor in sunlight.

Many other types of strip materials are available, including mesh AirFlex for insect protection, Low-Temp for coolers/freezers, dark amber & Aztec Orange for welding or sight barriers, opaque for conveyor openings or sight barriers, anti-glare, antistatic, freezer reinforced, and other materials. MaxBullet Mounting System for 90% faster strip replacement

The MaxBullet system is one of the easiest and most economical mounting systems on the market with 75% faster installation and 90% faster strip replacement times. Door strips simply push into place on the "bullets" and fit all sizes of door strips except those with 4" width. The MaxBullet’s® unique bullet-shaped locking feature allows for easy strip snap-on/snap-off installation yet stays securely in place for heavy-duty daily use. Installation: The strength of this mounting system is fast and effortless installation. Employees don't have to juggle tools on a ladder to place strips since they simply push onto the bullets. Many applications that require frequent strip changes utilize this system since it becomes easier to replace scratched strips to increase visibility.

TYPES: Available in stainless steel, aluminum, silver and fluorescent materials to meet your application.

SPECIFICATIONS: This strip door is 6 feet wide, 8 feet high. The strips are 8" wide, .080" thick, with 50% overlap. It utilizes MaxBullet Aluminum mounting hardware.

A guide to strip overlap - 8" with 50%

Overlap is measured at the point strips attach to the mounting hardware. This door features 8" strips. They overlap each other by 2" on each side. Overlap at the floor may be less due to the curve across the face of the material. The greater the overlap, the more restricted the flow of air through the door. 8" doors are typically used in light duty or medium duty applications where there may be personnel walking through the door. Consider this size in areas like warehouses, walk-in freezers, and clean-room areas.
