Rotating bin system saves work, reduces errors by presenting parts to the picker

Compared to rectangular shelving, Rotabins save space—lots of space—and also save work. You can pick more parts quicker while standing in one spot than from bins, shelving or even flow rack. Parts are easier to see and reach, and you save walk time for order pickers because they can rotate the shelves to suit them. This helps workers avoid fatigue and the errors that accompany it. Applications: Rotabins are ideal for production areas, maintenance rooms, warehouses, parts counters, hardware stores, or home centers. They fit on or under counters, in corners, or in rows. And you never have to worry about parts being lost in the shadowy back of a shelf.

  • 28" diameter shelves each have 6 permanent dividers. Compartments are 14.5" wide, 12" deep, and 5.75" high. One piece bottom disc is flanged for rigidity. The 1-5/8" bin fronts are removable. Optional, adjustable bin dividers can be inserted on 1" centers to make up to 24 total compartments per level. Capacity is 500 pounds per level.
  • Capacities shown are for all shelves having equally distributed loads. Don't overload a shelf to the point where it spills when it's rotated.
  • Unique Lazy Susan design allows one person to pick more orders than conventional storage methods.
  • Permanent dividers create pie-shaped shelves that keep parts in easy sight and reach.
  • Removable dividers (optional) can create more compartments for storing different parts on the same shelf level. Segment it the way you want it.
  • Shelves sit on a ball bearing held in place with a solid steel pin. Each shelf rotates smoothly and independently of the other shelves in the same unit.

This Rotabin unit is 28" diameter and 65-3/4" tall. It has 10 rotating shelves with 6 compartments each (a total of 60 compartments). Each shelf has a capacity of 500 lbs. Rotabins find usable space where none existed before and bring parts right to the picker. By concentrating bulk parts into less space than traditional linear shelving, Rotabin revolving bins use every inch of space. Rotabins consist of a series of circular revolving steel shelves, dividable into triangular bins, mounted in stacks (shelves) on a vertical post.
