Use this net to create a 3' panel of protection on the bottom or either side of a conveyor. Products can be saved from damage or loss and people can be protected from falling items by flexible safety netting. It protects people from things standard conveyor guardrails cannot, like falling pieces of conveyor, or large cartons that escape the limited reach of fixed guardrails. It’ll even catch a conveyor roller if one happens to fall. It meets all OSHA requirements for conveyor guard, and can be used in some FDA approved applications. Net guards are convenient, too: when an item falls, you can see right through the net. Just unhook the guard section, retrieve the item, and return it to the line. Downtime is minimal, and usually your item is undamaged. The netting makes conveyor maintenance accessible because it disconnects and reconnects easily and quickly.
Installation is fast, easy, and efficient.
No cutting, fitting, or frame welding is needed. Soft nylon netting will not cut or scrape personnel during installation, either. It’s easy to change your netting as you change your conveyor layout, too. Also, since it is lightweight, it puts no stress on your overhead conveyor, compared to welded-on metal guards, which aren’t as effective at fall protection. Features a knotless, sewn border and 1” square mesh nylon, fire retardant NFPA 701 specifications. Mesh twine has 190 lbs. tensile breaking strength. Border rope is .170 dia. with 1,200 lbs. tensile breaking strength. Color: Black.
