An ergonomic way to raise, lower, and rotate heavy materials for work positioning, transfer, or other operations. This free standing base plate jib crane with 8 ft. span doesn’t utilize any building structure for support and lets you freely move loads within a complete 360 degree rotation. The crane provides 13 ft. of underboom height and uses a hexagonal base plate with six supporting knee braces spaced at equal distances around the 8-5/8 in. diameter mast. It requires a concrete foundation for adequate support and is anchored to the foundation structure using anchor bolts.

Free standing base plate mount jib crane used in a forklift maintenance application.
This crane design allows for powered rotation through a variety of collector ring assemblies. It also features the following:
- Boom (I-beam) meets specifications using a 25% factor of rated load for impact and 15% of rated load for hoist and trolley weight
- Pipe style mast design gives maximum strength and minimum deflection for resistance to bending, buckling, crushing and wear by trunnion assembly
- Top bearing is Timken tapered roller bearing with grease fitting to allow lubrication
- Bearings have 5000 hour, B-10 design life
- Head assembly uses reinforce angle plates to limit compression and buckle stresses
- Lower trunnion assembly is channel mounted to transfer load from the top of the box
- The required reinforced foundation that permanently anchors the crane also acts as the load counterbalance weight
- Foundation for crane must be poured to specified size and depth and is solely the customer's responsibility to provide a proper foundation
