Using Safety Netting is easy and simple to plan and set up. Usually no special tools are required. It installs on conventional support structures such as steel rod, threaded rod, angle iron, punched angle, pipe, etc., using steel cable.
In most cases, the FlexGuard will be installed in runs of 10, 20, 30 or 50 feet. Depending on the installation, a variety of attaching hardware will be supplied. The standard hardware includes "S" hooks (with a tensile strength of 250 lbs. minimum) or safety-rated nylon ties. Maximum load conditions should be carefully considered in the choice of supports and hardware.
Special offset-mounting systems makes it easy to hang the guarding 4' to 6" outside the conveyor supports. Designed for use on standard threaded rod, the offset components make for quick, trouble-free installation of FlexGuard. The offset brackets provide the basis for a cable frame that holds the FlexGuard securely in place. Because it's flexible netting, it's extremely adaptable to most mounting requirements.
