excellent one-day conference featuring multiple sessions designed to
assist the distribution professional. The theme this year is
"Absolute DC Solutions". Cisco-Eagle?s Marc DeWall, Haynie Mayhew,
and Mike Palmison will be presenting Equipment Installation and
Coordination, a fast-paced course on what to expect at this
critical step of the process. It happens at the DFW Airport Marriott in
Irving, Texas on Thursday, October 16, 2003 (8:30 am to 3:00 pm). Fees:
$79 per person. The registration deadline is October 6, 2003. The fee
includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, event cap, and entry for portable DVD
player.
The
Council of Logistics Management holds its annual fall conference,
September 21-24 at Chicago?s McCormick Place. This year?s theme is: ?Changing
the Game, Maintaining the Passion.? The program includes 28
educational tracks to enhance your expertise and explore new areas of
logistics and supply chain management. You can

The National
Industrial Transportation League (NITL) presents TransComp 2003,
November 15-19, 2003 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. TransComp is a leading
tradeshow for transportation, distribution, and logistics professionals.
It's designed to provide attendees with key insights on business issues as
well as access to scores of exhibitors. Fees: $645 for members

APICS, the
American Production and
Inventory Control Society, holds its fall Conference & Expo October
6-9 in Las Vegas with the theme ?Transform Challenges into
Opportunities.? The conference features exhibitions by over one
hundred vendors, a list of impressive speakers, the Interactive Supply
Chain Management Experience. In it, you?ll explore a six-node supply
chain network while dealing with issues of optimization in a competitive
environment. Expect a high level of audience participation throughout the
sessions with collaboration, interaction, games, and multiple voting
scenarios. This experience will culminate in a team competition and a
structured, interactive postmortem of real-world results. Added bonus:
