polyethylene thermoplastic and a steel inner sleeve - this puts an end
to rusting, chipping, pitting, discoloration, scraping, sanding, priming
and painting. Measure the circumference you want to cover. (Circumference is the distance around the post.) Most posts are either 4" or 6".
Take that dimension and divide by pi (3.14) to receive the pipe size.
Example:
Circumference is 21.5". Divide by 3.14. (21.5/3.14 = 6.8471)
Pipe size is 6-7/8"
The bumper post sleeve needed is 6". Always round down.
Height: utilize the height of the actual post. Space is built in for the sleeve's dome top, so the relevant measurement is the height of the bollard or post from ground to top.
Utilize our online catalog - post protector sleeves area to select the correct size. You can order by telephone or online. If you don't see a size to match your bollards, contact us for assistance.
