End effectors offer these advantages:

Safety: Most end effectors come equipped with a Safety Interlock system that will not allow the operator to accidentally disengage the part during transfer.
Injury Protection: properly applied end effectors can reduce injuries by eliminating heavy lifting and turning of items.
Control: Through a variety of pneumatic packages each system is matched to a control package that is tailored to the lifting and positioning task.
Multi-Axis Motion: End effectors can be designed with manual and/or powered tilt and rotation packages, which allow the operator to orient the part to the proper position.
Flexibility: These end effectors can be utilized with either a Balance Air (or similar) unit or a manipulator arm for reach applications.
