Rivet Shelving Deck Options

Particle board is the standard, but isn't your only option...

Purchasing Deck Material

Because of the cost of shipping, it may be more cost effective to purchase the wood decking for your shelving locally. Wood prices also vary regionally. Depending on where you are located, your pricing may be more competitive locally.

Particle Board Deck

Particle Board is by far the most common decking option for Rivet Frame Shelving. Cisco-Eagle carries 5/8" particle board in stock for all inventory sizes of shelving we sell. We do not recommend anything less sturdy. Please check the load capacity you need to ensure that your deck material matches the capacity you need.

Capacities listed on our shelving areas reflect shelf frame only. Cisco-Eagle will assist you in configuring a deck material that has proper capacity for your application. Just call us.

Wire Decking

Another option you can choose is wire decking. It won't trap dirt, makes overhead sprinklers more effective and is a snap to install.

Other Options

Plywood, OSB, and other types of wood are also acceptable, but must be carefully considered for capacity and other issues.
