ACCESS Systems - Innovative Unit Load Storage & Retrieval

More Reliable...A Greater Operational Uptime

All the random selectivity of conventional S/R approaches without the same limitations

ACCESS System technology is an innovative approach to the automated storage and retrieval of palletized unit loads. CIMAT S.A., a division of the French engineering firm Savoye Logistics, originally developed the technology in the early 1990's. In 1999, it was licensed to Retrotech, Inc., a partner of Cisco-Eagle.

Key Systems Components:

  1. Pallet Racking

  2. Autonomous Vehicles

  3. Lifts

  4. Fully integrated interfacing with receiving, picking, shipping

  5. Self-contained control system

The ACCESS System offers the random selectivity of tradition S/R approaches without its limitations. Access is more reliable, has a greater operational uptime, and offers a superior expansion capability than crane-based systems. Storage is independent of throughput. Additional storage can be achieved byu adding more rack area without the need for additional vehicles. Whenever the higher throughput is desired, additional vehicles or lift devices can be employed without adding more rack.

  • Excellent use of cubic space--99% of achievable fill rate
