Conveyors have a sheet metal frame with rollers at either end. The
belt slides across a solid metal frame, making it a "Slider
Bed." Inexpensive,
quiet, easily-installed conveyor suitable
for light to medium loads is perfect for warehousing, manufacturing,
and commercial applications. Good for order picking, machine
integration and more.
SLIDER BED
BELT CONVEYOR TYPES:
|
Roller Bed Conveyor has channel frames with rollers placed below the
belt. Because of the rollers, it reduces the amount of friction
from heavier loads compared to slider bed models and can carry
heavier loads. It is better suited for pushing cartons onto or off
of the belt. It can maintain its belt
alignment (or tracking) better than a slider bed as items are pushed
across.
|
Handles empty cardboard boxes and paper trash. Excellent for many
applications, including publishing, printing facilities, and others
that generate volumes of paper
|
The Gapper belt
conveyor feeds saw tooth merges, combiners, sorters, or other
equipment where gaps must be pulled between cartons.
|
