Centering Device for Conveyor
This conveyor accessory was designed to assist a robotic unit for removal
of a wheel-shaped object from the roller conveyor.
The
object enters the "zone" and accumulates to the end of the conveyor. The
EZLogic sensor activates several cams which move from both sides of
the conveyor and centers, in this case a spool. When the object is
centered, a robot or other removal device can then remove the spool or
similar object from the conveyor.
This concept, with minor modifications, can be used for other
applications.
