Floor locks prevent portable equipment from shifting or creeping when in locked position. Engaging the floor lock is accomplished by depressing the foot pedal. Depressing the kick bar releases/retracts the floor lock. For best results, under most conditions, floor locks should be installed in pairs between swivel and rigid casters.
NOTE: Floor Locks are not manufactured to lift equipment.
Plunger-type swivel locks are used when you want to convert a swivel caster into a rigid one for added steering control.
Field installable wheel brakes are economical and easily installed on side of the wheel. Use w/4" to 8" diameter wheels (1-1/2 and 2" wide). Fits on standard caster series: 40, 43, 45, 65, and 75.
