Incline belt conveyor transports product between two different elevations. It's excellent to convey between a mezzanine and floor level, docks, overhead conveyor to floor, etc. This guide is designed to help you maximize incline conveyors in your operation.
It's harder to move something up from the horizontal than it is to move it along a flat plane. The amount of power it takes depends on the degree of incline being ascended.
Most incline conveyor projects are going to have a maximum 30-degree incline angle. Most of the calculations in the catalog are based on 25 degrees.
If a 30 degree incline is exceeded, the following problems may occur:
