A lift & tilt table gives you more ways to position loads like containers of parts, dies, motors, and other equipment for efficient handling, assembly, and maintenance. Because it can both lift and tilt the load, you can place you work at an ergonomic height and angle. This reduces bending and stretching, so you suffer less back strain and work more productively. The pneumatic airbag system requires an air supply for operation but is easier to maintain than lifters with hydraulic cylinders or pistons.

Benefits

This pneumatic tilting lifter helps prevent back strain and increase efficiency by placing work where it's easy to reach. Even with light parts on the tilt top, you can reduce the chances for expensive, painful injuries. This pneumatic unit can be used anywhere you have shop air. It requires no electricity to run, and there are no hydraulic cylinders or pistons to maintain.

Operation

The lift must be connected to shop air for operation; the air requirement is 80 psi @ 15 cfm.

To raise the lift, activate the hand control valve and hold it in the up position until the lift reaches the desired height. To lower the lift, hold the control in the down position; briefly switch it to the up position to stop movement. The lift will stay at the height you leave it until you move it. Load only from the fully lowered position.

The tilt table surface is controlled independently and can be set to any angle up to 30 degrees.

Precautions

Load tilting is a great ergonomic solution for work positioning, but be sure it's appropriate for the type of load you're handling. Depending on the load's composition, size, weight, and center of gravity, tilting may not be suitable beyond a certain angle.
