This tilter is floor level at lowered height so it's pallet jack accessible; the jack or hand truck can just roll the load on. Activate the hand controls to tilt the load up to 45 degrees, so you can easily pick parts from the bottom of a normally inaccessible container or basket. A more accessible load reduces back strain, bending, and stretching -- and the potential for injuries that accompanies them. It also boosts productivity because workers spend more time doing their jobs, less straining over heavy bulk parts. Includes a safety edge/toe guard to protect against injury.

Description

Operation

This tilter is great for work in process, assembly, manufacturing, machine loading, and fabrication shop jobs. To operate, place a load in the center and back of the lift platform. Activating and holding the up switch will energize the motor and begin to tilt the platform up to a maximum angle of 45 degrees. Releasing the up switch will stop the tilter, which will hold the platform in place until you activate the switch again. Holding the down switch allows the lift to lower smoothly and at a controlled factory preset speed.

Precautions

Load tilting is a helpful ergonomic solution for work positioning, but be sure it's appropriate for the type of load you're handling. Depending on the load's composition, size, weight, and center of gravity, tilting may not be suitable beyond a certain angle. Contact us for help determining which tilter model is right for your facility. Use additional precautions when tilting a load of loose parts on the TZ lift; excessive tilting can cause parts to roll out. Do not exceed the load capacity rating on the data plate. Do not place a load on a moving lift.
