The Star 5 Forum door offers fast vertical rolling to speed production in your interior supply chain. Horizontal stiffeners and 13" high soft bottom edge provide a flexible, non-corrosive multi-composite curtain support for smooth operation. Door raises at up to 48" per second based on curtain dimensions, and runs on a 3-phase 60 Hz 1 hp motor. Air exchange is minimized with the soft bottom and "just in time" opening made available by the motor speed. An independent structure fits the inside or outside of the opening and is insulated against cold, heat, noise, drafts, odors, dust and debris. Optional power-free opening mechanisms include ratchet handle, crank handle or counterbalance weights.

- 13" free hanging multi-flex soft bottom edge runs full width of door to assure positive seal against air exchange, dirt, dust and debris

- With door closed, leakage area is guaranteed to be no greater than 1.61 sq. ft. with up to 2.7" WC air pressure
- Motor unit may be fitted to either right or left side of door and is a 1 hp, 3-phase, 60 hz motor that runs on 208/230/460/575 V AC and has upstream circuit breaker protection
- Soft bottom edge slides over objects, and without a bottom bar nor captured guides, the door is low maintainance and seldom needs repairs
- A "reactive" curtain design causes the door to automatically re-open if a vertical or horizontal deflection is detected, thereby protecting the door against catastrophic collisions
- Multi-composite materials assure corrosion resistance, long service life and reliable operation
