When you have existing rack running up to the edge of your mezzanine, you can still have a safe loading zone with the addition of this mezzanine safety gate. The system installs using existing rack uprights for its framework and can be customized to fit any rack opening. This interconnected gating system assures that when the edge gate is open, the mezzanine access gate is closed, thereby maintaining worker safety during loading and off-loading operations. Once loading is completed, simply raise the mezzanine access gate and the edge gate will lower to close of the opening at the edge.

This system uses storage rack uprights for support framing. The interconnect system of chains and sprockets mounts to the rack uprights, as do the gate guide posts. A very economical way to create safe loading zones on your storage mezzanines.
Satisfies ANSI MH28.3-2009 6.4.3 requirements for dual gate system.
