Undercounter Cabinets provide quick access to stored liquids at workstations by taking advantage of space beneath counter level for the safe storage of flammable liquids. Cabinet is sized and fitted with a 3-1/2"H x 2-1/2"D kickplate to mount flush with other cabinetry. Leveling feet adjust to 1.125" for alignment on uneven floors, ensuring that it will work with your space. Dual vents with flash arresters are located on the back wall for easy connection if ventilation is needed. For spill protection, the galvanized steel shelf directs spills and drips to the back and downward into a bottom sump.
Color note: Yellow safety cabinets are most frequently used for flammable liquids. Manual Door: Economical manual-close doors permit doors to open a full 180°. When pushed closed, the door automatically self-latches.
Why yellow for flammable liquids?
Using color and labeling in your storage practices helps identify, organize and segregate liquids. It also helps fire department personnel recognize hazards when responding to fire situations. While regulatory codes do not mandate the specific color of safety cabinets, industry has customarily advocated yellow as the color for storing flammable liquid containers.
Various cabinets are designed for differing situations, and are approved or
