We generally suggest yearly maintenance, but if the environment is outdoors or particularly dusty or dirty, I recommend adding regular checks to your monthly or quarterly PM schedule. Dirty sensors are the biggest concern in harsh environments. We're here to help you from installation through the whole service life of an AisleCop. Just contact us with your questions."

Below is the maintenance scope we recommend. You can use this list internally with your maintenance team, or purchase a maintenance package from us, and we'll send a trained technician to provide thorough service.

Check critical fasteners for tightness	Gates' concrete anchors Vehicle gate push rod connections Bearings Gear motor Driven shaft to arm bracket attachment Arm bracket to arm attachment
Check system drive	Verify no oil leakage from gearbox Verify no excessive noise during operation Verify normal temperature range
Check counterbalance system in vehicle gates	Spring wear: stress indicators or nicks, metal dust, excessive noise Cable wear: fraying, sheath damage, etc. Cam wear and alignment
Check LED arm lights	Review LEDs for operation/brightness Check strips for adhesion to arms and damage Check connector ends for damage
Visually inspect sensors	Aim of sensors Confirm rigidity of mount and non-vibration Confirm sensor activation with motion or presence
Review system for correct operation	Check for abnormal noise or vibrations Confirm ample time delays in place Confirm correct operation of all visual and audible components Correct manual mode operation Verify no errors at PLC or gate controller

After the service session, the technician will identify any items requiring replacement or repair and provide a report.
