Safer handling of compressed gas cylinders and tanks shouldn't be optional
You shouldn't handle compressed gas cylinders by hugging, lugging and twirling because the consequences of a cracked or broken regulator neck can be devastating. You've just created an out-of-control rocket.
By keeping tanks securely anchored at all times, you can help prevent the potential for injury and even fatalities, as well as damage to equipment and facilities. Compressed gas cylinders should never be lifted, transported or moved without securing to an appropriate lifting or transport device. Even if you must move tanks manually, use some kind of device that keeps the tank controlled at all times.
Be safe. Keep compressed gas cylinders securely anchored to stable, sturdy carts, hand trucks, dollies, wall brackets or locked in storage cages.
