How it works
The all-PVC bailer connects to your spill containment device through a simple bulkhead fitting. When the manual shut-off valve is opened, liquids drain from the containment pool and pass through the bailing filter. Water is allowed to pass through unhampered, but oil-based chemicals are trapped by the filter inside the bailer, slowly accumulating until the filter is packed full, at which point the filter automatically shuts down and allows no more fluids to pass through.
Simply replace internal filter and resume operations. Properly dispose of the contaminated filter.
The self-bailing filter provides a safe, convenient way to remove storm water from containment devices while still keeping the environment clean and safe.
