Designing a Flexible Handrail System:
Being modular, this rail system can fit into virtually any space. When designing your layout, consider the following:
- Posts must be anchored in minimum 3,000 psi concrete
- An End Post begins or ends a run
- A Middle Post extends a straight run
- A Corner Post incorporates a 90-degree turn into your layout
- Start a separate run if an angle other than 90 degrees is required
- Full length Rails should be installed between posts on 60" centers
- Rails can be cut down to length in the field if a shorter barrier section is needed
- A Swing Gate provides access through the barrier and should be installed between End Posts spaced 38.5" apart

System Benefits:
- Superior asset protection: Not only does flexible handrail safeguard workers and equipment behind the barrier, it also absorbs impacts, reducing damage to the forklift and the handrail itself
- Durable, low maintenance: Posts and rails resist denting and can flex back into shape after a collision, which greatly lowers repair and replacement costs
- Modular and easy to assemble: Creating a custom floor layout and installing the lightweight, modular components takes a fraction of the time compared to traditional steel alternatives
- High visibility: The bright yellow rails are easy to see and clearly define pedestrian walkways and work areas
Specifications:
