Stewart Glapat Adjustoveyors bridge the gap between your permanent conveyor system and your shipping department. The conveyor can be fully collapsed when not in use giving you open space for forklift and pedestrian traffic at the dock. When a truck needs to be loaded or unloaded, the conveyor fully extends into the trailer with a continuous flow of products to workers inside, who cube out the truck.
These dock conveyors are highly customizable with options including extendable skatewheel conveyor at the end for staging product, hydraulics that can raise/lower the conveyor to fit different height trucks and workers, and a traversing undercarriage for servicing multiple dock doors.
Integrates with your stationary conveyor system or other machinery
Adjustoveyor ties into your conveyor system and transitions product between it and a wide variety of equipment. Common methods of feeding products to the Adjustovayor are done through gravity conveyor, chutes, spirals or hand loading. For more complex systems like overhead conveyor, Adjustoveyors combine with gravity or powered inclines to either take product away from the overhead line or move product up to it.
Often near the dock area or taking away from a sorter, Adjustoveyors can be equipped with photo eyes and labeling equipment putting scanning operations close to areas where product is leaving the conveyor line. By reducing the amount of time and distance product travels between these points can reduce errors that can occur along the way.
