This split opening cantilever dock gates swing down to obstruct the dock edge and prevent falls. When not in use, gates collapse as they are raised to form thin profile, space-saving uprights. Since the gates lift, no swing-arc space is required, nor storage space for gates in open position. Satisfies OSHA 1910.23(c) requirements. Easily lifts and lowers through gas-assist struts. Gates lock in full open position.
