ZoneSafe Vehicle Access Control

Vehicle gates are automated through use of a ZoneSafe antenna system that creates a detection zone around the gate. Transponder tags used by drivers send a signal to the antenna to open the gate as they approach. Using a Vehicle Access Control System allows you to:

• Assign tags to authorized drivers
• Track and identify vehicle movement
• Create log records each time the gate is accessed
• Set up alerts and notifications

Vehicle access in a warehouse

Here the forklift has been fitted with a ZoneSafe control unit along with the driver using his transponder tag. Reader Units have been installed near each barrier to detect the forklift as it moves toward the gate.

When the forklift enters the detection zone of the reader, the barrier is activated and the gate rises. The gate then lowers once the forklift is no longer in the detection zone.

The Vehicle Access System can be set up as a stand alone system or networked throughout the warehouse.
