Everything about these conveyors from QC Industries is built for quality and longevity, since they are often at the end point of a critical automation or assembly process.
Like other conveyors in QC's Automation Series, AS65 conveyors feature quality components that reduce maintenance and replacement costs. Durable, low-profile box frames resist deflection for consistent load support and reliable tracking over a long service life. These frames are a mere 1.95" high, much leaner than a typical belt conveyor — advantageous where conveyors must share space with other machinery.
QC's double-row ball bearings are sealed against dirt and debris for extended life, and they are robust enough to support high conveyor speeds needed in many automation applications. Crowned belt pulleys contribute to the A65's excellent belt tracking.
A unique feature of AS65 conveyors is the movable center drive, which lets you adjust to changing applications and work environment. The drive package sits completely beneath the belt, so it never interferes with product flow, adjustments, maintenance, or access to the conveyor. When you need to move the drive, loosen a few screws and slide the drive along the frame to the desired location. Re-tightening the screws locks the drive into place. Drive idler pulleys can be removed with ease for quick belt changes without drive removals.

Another convenient, time-saving feature is the pushbutton tension release tail. Quickly pop up the tail to loosen the belt for easy cleaning and belt changes, then easily lock back into place with tension and tracking settings saved; there is no need to readjust the belt after every cleaning.
It's easy to customize your AS65 to exactly suit your conveying needs. Depending on the items being conveyed and the process they are being moved through, certain accessories and options can help optimize their handling. Some helpful options include the following:
Adjustable guide rails help keep products oriented a certain way on the belt; great for machine interfacing
Nosebar tails reduce the gap between conveyors to prevent small parts from falling through during transfer
V-guide belts provide superior tracking for side loading, side exiting, and reverse belt movement
There are also a choice of motors, conveyor supports, and belting materials to suit a variety of needs. We can help you design exactly the right conveyor for your application; just contact us for assistance.
