DockRight is a plug-and-play system that projects a solid green or red laser line. When used outside at the loading dock, it creates guiding assistance to drivers backing up to bay doors. Since the laser lines are projected, they remain visible above snow, dirt or debris that would normally cover up traditional painted dock striping. Used indoors, DockRight can mark walkways, aisles or warning zones around machinery, or attach to overhead cranes to let pedestrians know where they are positioned. The laser itself is safe enough that protective eyewear is not required for those working around it, while strong enough to provide a visible, solid line.
Sold individually; to cover both sides of a dock door you must order (2) lights.

Using a photoeye or other sensor, you can configure a dock light that only comes on when a truck or other traffic is present. This helps you conserve power, and also creates a signal that drivers and pedestrians are more likely to notice because it is not always present. Used indoors, the DockRight projector can replace tape or painted lines on the floor by helping define pedestrian walkways or outlining danger areas around equipment. Unlike the alternatives, the laser line won't get dull or dirty; it will remain visible as long as it's not in an area of direct sunlight. You can also mount the DockRight on the underside of a track crane to create a visual warning of the crane's position. When mounted overhead and pointed downward, the DockRight projects a line 2.5 times as long as the installation height, though you can use the shutters to trim the line to the desired length.
For exterior use at dock doors, mount the unit at the top of the dock seal, out of the way of trailers— usually around 13 to 14 feet high. Angle the projector downward and outward, away from the building, to create a line 50 to 60 feet long, which creates a visual barrier between dock lanes and helps guide drivers toward the dock door in dark or low light conditions. Use the shutters to shorten the line if needed, particularly if it shines on the wall or dock door just below the projector unit.
