300 Series indexing conveyors from QC Industries move loads with a regular start/stop action, positioning each in turn at a precise location (accurate within ±.015"). The conveyor stops for a set period of time — long enough to complete a task such as parts assembly, stamping, labelling, filling, or packaging — before moving the next product into place.
With a height of only 3 inches and a variety of drive mounting configurations available, these low profile conveyors can be installed in tight quarters where many other conveyors can't fit. This makes them ideal for machine integration, where they must be placed under, next to, or between other equipment.
Teeth on the timing belt remain engaged with teeth on the drive pulley, even through high start/stop cycles. This prevents belt slippage and keeps load placement precise and reliable. The durable belts include steel or Kevlar reinforcements, which improve load capacities and reduce stretch for longer belt life.
Choose from a selection of standard or custom molded cleats (also called profiles), which are shaped specifically for the parts you will be transporting on your indexing conveyor. Cleats of the proper size and shape help maintain even spacing between loads and keep them oriented correctly for processing. The cleats screw-mount into the timing belt, so you can change them out as needed for different applications.
The versatile and efficient drive motor can move the belt at speeds up to 2000 feet per minute, in either direction. It meets the demands of fast-moving operations where frequent adjustments are needed.
