The AisleAlert pedestrian detection system can mount onto existing guardrails or pedestrian walkways to help alert forklift operators perceive pedestrians in a walkway. When correctly installed, the AisleAlert retro-reflective photo-eye sensor triggers a flashing LED strobe light when the sensor's light beam is interrupted. The strobe light is mounted 90" high (approximately forklift operator eye level) for visibility. An adjustable flash time allows setting the cycle time from 5 to 15 seconds. The variable intensity audible alarm, which can be set within a 62 to 92 decibel range, also sounds when the system triggers. Installs using the included bracket and is ready to use with little assembly. Reflective target marker included.

Description

The AisleAlert pedestrian detection light uses a retro-reflective photo-eye sensor that projects a light beam across an area. When the light beam is broken by someone going through the gate, an LED strobe light is triggered and will flash for a predetermined amount of time (time is adjustable).

The strobe light should be mounted at the approximate eye level of lift operators for best visibility.

Pedestrians take own responsibility for making sure the crossing is clear of oncoming traffic before entering the traffic zone.
