Forklift is the most common transfer unit option... but not the only option
Each A Series model is available with several transfer unit options for safe, precise material handling. We will work with you to determine the right configuration for your application.

Optimize material flow in an array of applications
AGVs are capable of executing a range of handling tasks, and altogether, the A Series can accomplish just about any job that a manually operated forklift or tugger can— but better. Any model can be used in the following applications:
- ASRS interface
- Block stacking
- Cold storage
- Conveyor interface
- Pallet transport
- Pallet rack transfer
- Production pick-up/delivery
- Very narrow aisle (VNA)
Every model except the A12 is suitable for mobile rack transfer. For trailer loading and unloading, you would need model A4, A6, or A8.
A Series AGVs excel in challenging— and changing— environments
A Series vehicles can operate in temperatures from -4 degrees F to 104 degrees F and can even be configured for outdoor use. They are especially useful in cold storage and other harsh or hazardous environments, as they reduce risk to workers and increase safety in handling goods like chemicals.
Depending on your facility's physical infrastructure and the travel paths required for optimal material flow (not to mention your budget), you may prefer a specific navigation method for your automated vehicles. Fortunately, a number of different guidance systems are available for all A Series AGVs.
One of the main things to consider is the degree of flexibility you will need to meet future challenges. Each A Series model can be equipped with sophisticated systems such as dynamic laser guidance for flexible pathing or contour navigation for active obstacle avoidance— a big plus in the busiest operations. There are also more economical options such as painted line, magnetic tape, magnetic spot, and QR code guidance, all of which allow pathing reconfiguration. Inductive wires embedded into floors provide high path accuracy and durability but little flexibility if you need to reroute your AGVs.
