A purpose-built line sized for higher throughput
Cisco-Eagle equipped the demolition bays with a gravity conveyor and pneumatic washdown tables from Lewco Conveyor, giving crews a smooth path to move salvage parts from the bays to the washdown area for cleaning. Steel King guardrail protects the conveyor from impact in a busy work environment.
Equipment used
| Equipment | Vendor | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Gravity conveyor | Lewco Conveyor | Moves salvage parts from the demolition bays to the washdown area |
| Pneumatic washdown tables | Lewco Conveyor | Cleaning station where parts are prepped for photography and inventory |
| Guardrail | Steel King | Protects the conveyor from forklift and traffic impact |
The design was intentionally elevated compared to previous sites, with a larger conveyor built for higher capacity, positioning this installation as a potential blueprint for future locations.
Product flow
This line handles one section of a larger operation. Once the conveyor and washdown make salvage parts suitable for resale, the parts move through the facility toward the packaging department, where they are packed against incoming customer orders and shipped across the country.
The results
The new line gives the facility a larger, higher-capacity processing setup than earlier sites, adding throughput at the exact point where salvage becomes sellable inventory. Just as important, the facility manager is enthusiastic about being first to run the improved process and helping shape how it rolls out across the company. What started as equipment for one new build is now shaping up to be the standard by which other sites are measured.
