Toshiba System

The Industrial Division of Toshiba International Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of motors, motor controls, and power electronic products. The Industrial Division operates a 620,000 square foot facility in Houston, Texas.

The Industrial Division chose Cisco-Eagle to address a unique set of needs. Twenty to forty foot long (8,000 lbs.) bar stock had to be positioned and fed into specialized saws for cutting. A second application involved a specialized “upending” manipulator to position motor windings which would be picked up by cranes. Security fencing, gates, and electrical interlocks were also provided. The result was a safe, secure and efficient operation meeting the client’s expectations.
