Hanger Specification for Low Profile Span Track Carton Flow
The size and shape of your hanger will determine the Span Track Hanger you need. You must identify the type of beam, then measure it to specify the appropriate hanger for your application. Each section of track must have two hangers (one front, one rear).
NOTE: You can always contact Cisco-Eagle for assistance with this. We can work through the process with you.
1: Identify the Beam Type
The types of beams are: Step Beams, Structural Beams, and Structural Channel Beams. You need to know the type of rack beam you have to order low profile hangers. If you cannot tell, then contact Cisco-Eagle. You can send us a digital photo of the beam for identification.
2: Measure the Beam
Measuring the beam: Each beam type comes in more than one size, as do hangers to match. The most typical beam sizes are shown above.
3: Specify the correct width:
The width of the hanger must match the width of your track. If you are using a hanger size that we don't offer online, contact us. Some other sizes are available, as are custom hangers for step and structural beams.
The Span Track Low Profile Units in our online catalog all have related items attached to them that give you the correct hanger width to order. However, you will still need to identify and measure your beam to order the correct size.
