Sleeve Insert Free Standing Jib Cranes
360 degree rotation maximizes floor space usage below crane
Get Quote- Crane requires a second-pour reinforced foundation in which a sleeve is embedded.
- Mast is inserted into sleeve, leveled, and welded in place. The sleeve allows it to be removed and relocated without damage to the mast.
- Free standing crane provides a full 360 degree rotation for flexible material handling.
- Capacity is the total weight that the boom arm can support, including the load, trolley, and hoist.
- Span is measured from the center of the mast to the end of the boom. The working span along which loads can be moved is less than this overall span.
- Underboom Height is the distance from the bottom of the boom to the floor. Subtract the height of the hoist to determine actual clearance.

About Sleeve Insert Jib Cranes
The span of the boom arm and the underboom height are key measurements when selecting the right jib crane for your space and applications.
Full 360 degree rotation of the boom provides a large work area for flexibility when lifting, positioning, and transferring loads.
Sleeve Insert Mounting: A second reinforced foundation is poured into the existing building slab. The foundation pour consists of an initial pour in which anchor bolts are embedded into the concrete through the sleeve insert base plate.
Once the sleeve insert is in place, the rest of the foundation is poured around the sleeve insert, providing the appropriate weight and size to anchor and counterbalance the crane when under maximum load.
Typical foundation sizes range from 3 ft. deep by 4 ft. square to 5 ft. deep by 11 ft. square.
