Even with its capacity of 0.5 ton and a maximum under beam height of 9', this all-aluminum gantry crane is lightweight and easy to assemble and take apart. Both height and span settings are quickly adjustable, and the aluminum construction provides great corrosion resistance for refrigerated areas or sanitary environments. The crane is light to transport and features mold-on polyurethane wheels with swivel locks that keep the crane in place during lifting operations. Works well in maintenance and repair situations as well as tight spaces because of its easy mobility, maneuverability, and adjustability.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT:
This crane's height is adjustable in 6-inch increments. Spring-loaded locking pins automatically engage when the new position is reached. Legs are independently adjustable.

SPAN ADJUSTMENT:
Gantry crane span adjustment refers to changing the spacing between leg supports, which you may need to reduce in order to move the crane down an aisle or position it between obstructions in the work area.
There are four clamps securing each leg support to the I-beam. To adjust the span, loosen the bolts that hold the clamps in place and slide each leg inward to the desired span, keeping an even beam overhang at each end.
The span is adjustable down to one half of the total I-beam length. For example, the legs underneath a 10 foot beam should never be closer than 5 feet apart, with equal spacing at each end.
Before using the crane, re-tighten all eight bolts securely. Do not use the cantilevered beam ends to suspend or lift loads.
