Now there's a dome mirror that warns you with 2 bright LED "CAUTION" messages and directional arrows, as well as giving you an image of approaching traffic in the mirror. This 36" diameter dome mirror is equipped with 2 microwave sensors that detect traffic moving toward the dome; you can program it to detect industrial vehicles, pedestrians, or both. The sensors trigger LED signs that can be seen up to 80 ft. away. Detection range is up to 60 ft. from the sensor. Does not trigger on objects moving away from the sensor, eliminating false danger warnings that can cause worker complacency. Custom options are available upon request.

Warn pedestrians of oncoming forklift traffic
The dome alert triggers warnings at right angles to the detection zone and displays a flashing LED "CAUTION" message and arrow pointing toward the direction of the approaching vehicle. This helps workers on foot avoid stepping in front of oncoming vehicles. The long range of the sensors makes the system ideal for large entrances and high-traffic areas.
The dome mirror alert system includes a 24VDC 60W power supply, so it arrives ready for installation. It also comes with a 24V auxiliary output, which allows for addition of extra warning devices, such as strobes or beacons. Please contact us if you'd like custom options such as a flashing floor light, audible alarm, LED exterior lights, or additional sensors.
High-tech motion sensors make all the difference
Advanced microwave sensors provide exceptional functionality, from installation and programming to active detection, for more effective safety warnings.
Sensor installation and adjustment are straightforward, allowing quick set-up. Typically, the mirror alert system is configured to detect only forklifts, scooters, golf carts, and other industrial vehicles moving toward the sensors but not pedestrians or traffic moving away from the sensors. This keeps the caution message from triggering when there is no danger of collision. However, the sensors may also be programmed to detect pedestrians and/or departing traffic if desired.
Some other advantages to the microwave sensors used in ALERT Safety warning systems include the following:
