Full dome mirrors offer some of the best versatility for preventing intersection collisions in warehouse and distribution applications. Placed at a 4-way intersection, this mirror provides a wide angle view in all directions so that equipment operators and pedestrians in blind aisles can see oncoming traffic before exiting the aisle.
Place dome mirror on soft surface with dome open end facing up.
Be careful not to scratch mirror surfaces inside and out.
Gather S-hooks and chain segments.
Hook large end of one S-hook through one of the pre-drilled holes in
the lip of the dome, with hook entering hole from bottom of lip. Repeat
with 2 of the remaining S-hooks.
Slip chain end of one chain segment into the small end of one
S-hook, repeating with remaining chain segments and 2 S-hooks, lifting
chain above dome creating a 3-point chain suspension.
Attach remaining S-hook to all chains at loose ends to create hanger
out of S-hook.
Hang
mirror fixture from S-hook using own wire, chain, rope, etc. to
position mirror at proper height for best visibility of traffic in dome.
For best view and safety enhancement, position mirror as low as
possible, taking into consideration the elevation of processes,
equipment and traffic in the area.
