Dock bumpers protect trucks and docks by absorbing over 80% of impact force. They are built with tough plies of fabric-reinforced rubber pads cut from recycled truck tires. The pads are laminated between structural steel plates and secured with steel tie rods. End plates may be either angled for bolting to the dock (recommended) or flat for welding to the dock; please indicate your preference. You must also select an anchorage device when placing an order. Anchorage devices support extra long bumpers in the center, and different styles are available depending on where your bumper will be installed. Steel components are finished in black powder coat paint.

End plate style options

Bumpers may be ordered with structural steel angles or flat plates at each end. You will need to specify the end plates when placing an order. When using angled plates, they are bolted to the dock (recommended). When using flat plates, they are welded to the dock.

Anchorage device options

There are four styles of anchorage devices available for different dock conditions. When placing an order for the Extra Length Laminated Dock Bumpers, you must specify which type of anchorage device to include. Below is a quick guide to which type you may need for your application.
