Control access and reduce inventory theft by surrounding your pallet rack with wire mesh. Security experts say that to stop inventory theft, you should secure product "where it sits," which is exactly what wire security rack enclosures allow you to do. It protects full pallet loads, valuable case-pick inventory, or other bulky items. Cage sizes should match the size of your pallet rack; cage height should equal the rack upright height, side panels should equal rack frame depth and the rear panel and swinging gate front panels should match the pallet rack beam widths. This rack guard unit is 6' wide, 8' high, and 2' deep. It will fit a standard pallet rack bay that matches those dimensions in overall frame height and depth, and beam (not overall) width. If you have configuration questions, contact Cisco-Eagle customer service.
Rack Cage is designed for teardrop-style pallet racks
Rack guards can be installed on any rack, but require different hardware. These are configured for teardrop style racks. If your rack is another type, contact us for assistance.
Secure stored bulk items right in your pallet rack
Rack enclosure cages are complete with back and end panels, along with double-hinged doors the full width of the beam. The gates are ideally suited for single-bay operations and mount directly to rack uprights. Locking options are available for added security. Protect employees while securing inventory. Rack enclosures don't just secure your inventory -- they make your facility safer by preventing spills and accidental product damage. Wire mesh panels bolt directly to rack uprights, creating a sturdy barrier between inventory and the ground below. Durable, all welded angle-frame design adds all the protection you need to eliminate dangerous spills, protecting employees while containing inventory. It installs simply and easily, working with almost every rack on the market. Clean, straight-line design makes it attractive.
Mounting and installation
- Sturdy framed panels provide hassle-free installation by bolting directly to rack uprights with right angle mounting brackets.
- Panels may be easily extended above the rack with "above-the-top" extension supports (contact us for assistance).
- Finish: Gray powder coat. Other colors are available for an additional fee but may extend lead time; contact us for more information.
- Four brackets per panel are required for installation.
- Doors attach to teardrop holes. Two clips per door mount to upright face teardrops. Doors then connect to these clips. Both doors will swing open.
- Back panels attach with clips to teardrop holes on the rear side of the rack with carriage bolts.
- Side panels: End of row side - angle frame panels clips to the side of the upright using carriage bolts. Can Tek screw on if there are no holes. Center of row panel (inside the rack bay): Flat frame with holes in the frame. This panel must tek screw to the interior rack upright.
- Some rack brands (particularly Ridg-U-Rack) may require Tek Screws for installation due to long slots rather than teardrop connections.
Mounting options (select when you order)
Flush mounted
The rack backing is flush mounted directly to the pallet rack uprights. There is no space between the rack and the cage that would allow access to stored items.
Offset mounted
Panels mount to the pallet rack upright with an off-set bracket. Off-set brackets up to 6" available. With offset mounting, you can overhang pallets from your rack
